I’ve always loved long, voluminous, beautiful hair — but what I truly fell in love with was what it does for someone when they look in the mirror and finally feel like themselves again.
For me, hair extensions have never just been about length or thickness. They’re about confidence. They’re about restoring what’s been lost through postpartum changes, stress, illness, or simply time. They’re about that quiet moment of joy when someone runs their fingers through their hair and smiles.
Creating that transformation is the most rewarding part of what I do.
In 2013, at seven months pregnant, I became a single mum with no income and no safety net. Starting a business from scratch was daunting, but I knew I wanted stability, flexibility, and a better future for my family.
While navigating motherhood, I began building Mi-Tape — testing and refining every detail on friends, family, and of course, myself. I wasn’t just creating extensions; I was creating a method that truly worked for both clients and hairdressers.
Eleven years later, Mi-Tape has given me balance, security, and a life I once only hoped for. Built purely through word of mouth, it’s proof that when clients feel amazing, they share it.
Now my mission is simple — to help other hairdressers create flexibility and financial growth, while giving their clients the confidence they deserve.
